How to be a part of fraternity
General Rules for Membership:
Eligibility :Only those persons (Male or Female) who are directly connected with any one or more categories of Communicative Art i.e. Recitation, Audio Acting, Script Reading, or Anchoring and practicing or performing the art regularly, may apply for the membership of Bachik Shilpi Sanstha. They must apply on a prescribed form available on the website at appropriate time. The applicant must be above 18 years of age. One copy of stamp-sized photograph of the applicant and at least one certificate of his/her credential must be submitted along with the prescribed form duly filled in.
ONLY THOSE
APPLICANTS WHOM THE MEMBERS OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CONSIDER QUALIFIED, WILL BE
GIVEN MEMBERSHIP.DURING SELECTION OF CANDIDATURE, THE COMMITTEE MAY SEEK
OPINION OF EXPERIENCED JUDGES. IN SUCH CASES, THE CANDIDATES WILL BE DULY
NOTIFIED ABOUT THE DATE,TIMINGS AND VENUE OF THEIR INTERVIEW. THE DECISION OF
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE IS FINAL AND BINDING ON APPLICANT.
Those who are member or portfolio holders in like organisations spread all over the state may not apply. The membership, even if granted, may be cancelled on being found so.
It may be noted that this Bachik Shilpi Sanstha is not a performance based organisation and the interested persons should not expect regular stage appearances by virtue of being a member.
The members should participate in all the programs conducted by the organisation.
CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP ;
General Membership : General Membership is granted to those candidates who fulfill all the criteria laid down by the Executive Committee and subsequently pay the stipulated subscriptions.
Honorary Membership :According to the unanimous decision of the executive Committee, eminent social workers, educationists or distinguished personalities of the society maybe inducted as Honorary Member of the organization.
Subscriptions and payments
: An applicant will have to pay to
obtain the prescribed Application Form
On being selected for membership,an Admission fee, as stipulated by the
Executive Committee alongwith the prescribed Annual Subscription will be
collected in full at a time.Membership may be terminated without notice or
intimation, in case a member fails to clear subscription fees for consecutive
three or more years ending on 31st March.The executive committee may charge
fine for late payment of subscription.
